I miss the format war

It was very exciting. I looked forward to checking the HD news several times a day, just to see what might have been announced. Plus it was fun speculating as to what every little announcement might mean.

Me too actually.
Although I always thought calling it a "war" was kind of silly, and the idea of "emotional investment" in a DVD player seemed a little extreme, it was kinda neat to watch it unfold.



BTW, paging Pro-B the obligatory "move on" statement.
