Official Blu-Ray site reviewer Greg Maltz calls the BR release the "best picture ever authored for home video".

A McCarthy commentary would've been pretty great too (although as reclusive as he seems to be, we would've had a better chance of getting the Coens). Still anxiously awaiting the Blu-ray.

This is just a great movie.
Does anyone know if the death of HD-DVD has cancelled any plans to release this movie in that format?
Update: I think I answered my own question via a Google search.

In the United States, the rights are held by Miramax (thereby making this a Disney film), thus it is Blu-ray exclusive.

I wonder if the Weinsteins thought they were responsible for Miramax getting all those oscar nominations back when they were in charge.
