Can't wait for this one.

As a reminder, this is a 2 disc set. 1 Disc is the Blu-ray movie and all special features, and the second DVD is simply the "Digital Copy".

I too thought this. Very much like Rushmore, Royal Tennebaums, Life Aquatic style artwork. Love it!

Anyone pick this up? I'm interested in how good or informative the commentary is and the extra features.

DVD Talk Review

I'm getting it, as my wife liked it a lot in the theater. I saw part of it on an airplane ride, and am curious to see the rest (in HD , and not on a 5" screen )

Picked up the Blu-Ray at FYE for $25. It rang up $30 but was marked $25 so I don't know if it was mis-priced or what but a pretty good deal IMO.

I got this at Best Buy yesterday. I only had time to watch about a half hour of it, but for a low-budget Indie comedy, the video quality is pretty good. Detail and colors are good and there's a bit of grain. Which is good. It doesn't have that ultra smooth look. Dialogue was nice and clear. I can't hear DTS HD MA yet, but the core track is still very adequate. That's all that's needed anyways for a talky dramady.

I bought this as a blind buy, but I couldnt justify spending $30 on the Blu Ray of this, so I went with the $13.99 DVD. For a movie like this, paying more than double for the high definition version just wasn't justified.

I don't understand people who pick and choose which movies 'deserve' high definition... in my mind all of them do and usually will just wait until I can afford the blu-ray...that said, I was lucky enough to get Juno for $10 on BD (limited Canadian deal only). Can't wait to watch this one again.

The one we've never heard of, sadly.

Care to share?

I am from Fergus so I could easily get to Guelph or where ever you picked it up for $10.

Zip.ca sells one Blu-ray title for 10$ every Tuesday at noon. The deal only lasts a few minutes so it's basically impossible to take advantage of it...

I agree. Now that I've gone HD I'll NEVER buy the DVD version if the HD version is available.

I've got 25 Blu Rays, though I guess I'm not totally weened off of DVD as far as buying everything on Blu ray. To me it just didnt seem like it was worth paying double for a movie like Juno in regard to its technical merits. I havent seen it yet, though if I like it I'll probably regret not getting the Blu ray in the first place.

Yep, that's the one... very tough to actually get a copy (limited to 100 only ship in Canada) but I managed to get I Am Legend and Juno, so I'm happy...next week is 3:10 to Yuma which I already have, the 29th is Golden Compass, which I'm going to try for.

The first scene before the opening credits I thought they mistakenly gave me a SD but after that it got much crisper.
