One & Only HD/BD Bargains Thread Part II: Shock Treatment
1080p for cheap. GO!
To start, here's a $20 off three Blu-Ray discs at Best Buy:
http://emailinfo.bestbuy.com/pp/edit...A=1007&ci=9468 The follow BDs are $15 this week: Beerfest Blood Diamond Corpse Bride Deliverance Goodfellas March of the Penguins Million Dollar Baby A Scanner Darkly Training Day You'll need at least one BD over $20 to use the coupon. I grabbed Million Dollar Baby, Training Day and The Rock for $35. |
I thought this was an announcement for Shock Treatment on Blu-ray. :(
Using that deal tommorow. Thanks Pixy!
Fry's has the Panasonic BD30 or whatever for $369.99
ORLY? I wonder if Best Buy will pricematch that price. Bought when they had the 5 free instore movies, so I'm willing to bet they won't.
It's only in-store, no ad for it yet.
My local BB doesn't need an ad. They'll match the online price, just by looking it up on the site. I did it with a TV I bought there a few weeks ago.
HOT PRICE: Spiderman BD Trilogy is down to $43 at Amazon.

Hmm...interesting. Maybe I will end up putting a blu-ray in the guest room after all.
Are there any good prices for Blade Runner or the Resident Evil box set?
I'm probably going to hold out for the BD50 (I think I'll call it the Be-Dee-Fiddy) later in the summer.
Amazon.COM HD-DVD sale. Titles as low as $14.99

On Amazon, Pixy. Season 1 is $18.49, season 2 is $22.49 ($16.64 and $20.24 if you are lucky enough to still have the 10% going on :) ). For some reason I glanced at a post above mine and thought it was a link to the BD sale on Amazon right now, not the HD, which is why I didn't link it in my first post.
Massive Price cuts on both Formats. Check prices with any titles you may have recently bought from them.
Link to the Blu-Ray deals. |

Have no idea if it was mentioned in Part I or not, but the Oldboy - Tartan Asia Extreme Blu-Ray Edition is $22.95 @ Amazon right now.
Jeez. There are some ridiculous price drops there. I may have to get a few titles. That Spiderman box set looks awfully tempting.
I would buy 6-10 movies but Im broke, if I get the price adjustment refunds from 3 movies that I requested soon I'll buy a movie tho.

I'm sure the first two will get better releases. |
I'm totally waiting for the double-dip of Spider-Man 1 and 2 from Sony.
Just sent an e-mail for my $30.99 credit from Amazon for my A3 ! Holding onto this turns into a better deal each and every day.

I just did the same. But, I think I was just 3 days outside the 30 days after they shipped me. I hope I get it, but I wouldn't complain if I didn't, since they gave me money back on BOGO BluRays I didn't pay for. |

I went to BB and requested a price match. The frys.com site was sold out and the nearest Fry's didn't have the BD30k in stock. Called another one on the otherside of town and they had 5 in stock. Got the CSR to call, and they gave me the difference. Ended up being $360 for the machine, and after all my giftcards I ended up only forking over $110 after gift cards. I was stoked. Especially since they didn't seem to care about the 5 in-store movie promo I bought it with. So, I go the movies and that lower price. |
Wasnt there someone who posted their transaction with Warehousedeals that got BSG S1 HD-DVD for $5.24? I cant seem to find it on the old thread.
$32.65 credit placed back in my account. Time to order Pan's Labyrinth and The Pianist for only $7.76 more out of pocket. I love Amazon .
