RE Extinction played flawlessly on my Samsung BD 1000 & My Panny 310. It only hiccups on my Sammy 5000 so far.

RE Extinction played fine on my Samsung 1400, took about 4mins to load though.

It is nice to be able to see the runtime. They should sell a USB time display you can plug into one of the PS3's port.
