Dang! I was going to order the Die Hard movies last night but waited until today. Oh well, I'm sure there will either be another sale or they'll eventually get marked down.

Hopefully the next sale will have some more Warner titles so I can replace most of my Warner HD DVDs.

I have no plans to replace any of my Warner HD-DVDs with their Blu counterpart. Quality-wise, there's nothing gained and anyway, Warner is going to earn their $ from me just once. Of course, if Amazon continue to have their B1G1 sales for Blu, I will continue to take advantage of them picking up whatever titles I can for cheap, but I have a feeling those will be more and more infrequent now.

I would love for there to still be BOGO's, but I'd be shocked if the next one was anytime soon due to the recent developments in HD/BD.

True, but there's no rhyme or reason as to how long Amazon keeps these sales going, they could have very easily pulled the sale on Blu Friday, not like they have a printed weekly ad to follow. There was one Blu BOGO that listed only one day

I'm wondering if there will be another BOGOF sale on BDs at Amazon. Now that the format war is essentially over, there is little reason for the studios to give away discs. I can see some B&M stores having limited BOGOF sales on their own dime to get people in the doors. But will Amazon do the same?

I think the sales will cool off for BD because they think the war is over and people will be rushing out to buy players an discs. It will depend on the sales. If the huge increase in sales doesn't happen the B1G1 deals may return.

I'm so incredibly spoiled by all the $8 an d$10 movies I have bought that I doubt I will even be willing to pay $20 any more for an HD title unless it is a must have classic film that they seem anything but eager to release on HD anyway. I'll just be patient and wait for sales or buy used.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't another B1G1 sale within 2 weeks.
