Resident Evil Trilogy Blu Box Set?
Best Buy is advertising a Bluray Resident Evil Trilogy for $58.99 tomorrow.
I don't see any mention of this on DVDpricesearch or Amazon. So, is it really coming out, or is the ad wrong? Or am I just overlooking something?
thanks
-Jason

oh yes, its coming...
too bad the second movie sucked really bad or I'd buy the box - Hell, for the price the box is, I may just purchase it and trade off the second film.

dvdempire.com has a listing for it complete with pictures of the box, so its definately coming out.
Its the perfect way to purchase the trilogy considering just the first and third installments alone are about $50 on release day...

Thanks for the heads up everyone. Didn't see it at Amazon when I searched this morning. Will probably pick up the set at Best Buy tomorrow then.
Personally I loved the 2nd movie (and already own it on Blu) Now the 3rd movie on the otherhand... Ugh... But gotta have it to complete the set.

Just another Blu-ray conspiracy theorist.

There is no conspiracy here. Whoever runs the site obviously prefers HD DVD to Blu-ray as a High Definition format and uses the site to promote the format of their choice.

It's the only thing I can do until they treat the Blu-ray format fairly. Of course they haven't gone as far where they don't list Blu-rays in their search engine but that is only because of the revenue they generate from those links.

Feedback about what? Yes, it exists. Yes, it's a nice set. Very impressed with it, it's a great deal at $58.99 at Best Buy.

And anyone questioning Dvdpricesearch's biases check out their homepage today. What major news is conspicuously absent?

10:30 today or on tuesday?
I got one when I picked up my copy on tuesday, they were stacked behind the register but it didn't look like they had a ton of them or anything.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the announcement has to do with HD media prices. Other than maybe an article about speculation what might happen.

I realize I'm talking to the wind here in a forum dominated by HD DVD supporters and well-wishers. Dvdpricesearch never had any problem listing any news that favored HD DVD. They posted immediately about the Paramount defection and the sales of Transformers on HD DVD. They frequently would list minor independent HD DVD releases on their front page while slipping in major studio Blu-ray titles in their database unnoticed.
