Anyone Else Lose the 10% Amazon Discount Early?
I was making some last minute pre-orders yesterday with the 10% HD discount at Amazon and ever since my last order I haven't received the 10% discount on my orders!? I've tried the HP set, which I bought with the 10% discount about 2 weeks ago, and it won't work now either. I was just curious if others experienced this problem?

I placed an order about an hour ago and got the discount.

Thanks for the posts. I've tried everything I can think of to get the discount back and nothing is working. I haven't cleared my cookies or temporary internet files yet, but that's next on my list of random things to try
It literally just disappeared. Ironically, the same time that the 10% discount disappeared was about the same time the DVDSAVE5 discount started automatically applying itself to my orders over $50...suspicious!

my discount stopped working in October, I just e-mail them after each order and they either give me a refund or reduce the price of one of the movies by 10% of the order. I guess I could take advantage of this by canceling the rest of the order and placing a new one, but I havent. (For example, they only charged me $2.20 for Rush Hour 3).
It still does list the discount, but it always says -$0.00 so I'm guessing I reached the limit, I think there was one but I forgot what it was, but e-mailing them always gives me the money back.
Another plus is it seems like they outsource their e-mail from the way the respones are written and a lot fo times they will take off way more than 10%. One order for around $200 they took off almost $50.

Mine seems to still be working, but when I went to pre-order Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (BD), the discount didn't show up at the checkout. I wonder if this is because on the item page, they have the format listed as DVD (with the DVD logo as well). So maybe it's still in their system as a DVD.
BTW, I wish they'd get No Country for Old Men up for pre-order before the year is out.

Do you remember if it was listed as a DVD when you pre-ordered?

The one I did said HD DVD - this is the product link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00112S8SC
I noticed when I did a search on the title there's also a Blu-Ray cover pictured on another listing, but that one says DVD. Is that the one your tried?

I officially tried everything and the discount is gone. I can't get it back by signing out, clearing cookies, etc... So, I emailed Amazon and here's the response I got:
So, it seems that I should simply order the items and then hope they apply the discount correctly...right. At least it is REALLY easy to cancel an order if they screw it up and since these are all pre-orders it shouldn't be that difficult...what a pain in the ass though! I'm curious to see if I purchase the B1G1 HD DVDs that I want with the DVDSAVE5 code whether or not I'll get the additional 10% discount from the CSR like I would if the discount was working properly...only one way to find out I suppose.

I was able to get the DVDSAVE5 to apply as well, so this should be my last order. The 10% discount will not work on any preorders for me still and, honestly, it's probably a sign to stop buying anyway
