Even though it is out of stock, you can still order.

I was interested until I read a cnet review and they said that the video quality at 1080p (the TV is 1080p) wasn't very good... pretty much on par with the A3. Other than that it seemed like a decent player.

Ordered mine yesterday when I saw it hit 149 - and it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow

Plus, I had a $100 Amazon GC, so the deal was really a no-brainer.

I don't follow. What does your Amazon GC have to do with your order at Crutchfield.com?

Looks like it's back in stock. Anyone know how loud these players are? I have the Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on now and am wondering if it's worth selling that and picking up a stand alone player. Would save wear and tear on the 360 and the 360 is kinda loud (fan) when playing HD movies.

I misread the page - it's in stock but $249 now.
