Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! Must. Have. Is it possible to order directly from that Amazon? Maybe one of the DVD importers will sell it. Either way, I gotta get it. Although, I have a good backup plan if there's no easy way to get it online, since I work for a German company.

Man oh man... This looks tasty.
I would rather wait for a Planet Terror and/or domestic announcement so I can save some money. If this was $90 for Grindhouse with the trailers and/or other interstitials, I would've paid for it already.

Actually not interested in seeing HD versions of Grindhouse. They're meant to look really crappy, I don't need to shell out cash to see them look really crappy in HD.

Son of a bitch.
I hope these come out here, I'll sell my current steelbookss for these. Actually, I'd sell those either way for them in regular HD cases. But HD Steelbook? Delicious.

The fact that they've primarily released crap movies, and not a single day-and-date title, should be taken into account, but probably isn't.

I'd pass on a HD version of this anyways, steelbook or not. The movie isn't meant to look spectacular, even though the final reels are not "worn". This isn't something I need looking crisp as hell. I'd probably buy a complete edition of Grindhouse on HD if it were released that way, but I wouldn't upgrade my steelbooks of either entry for HD versions.

Clerks II came out 6 weeks after the standard DVD (and 2 weeks after the holidays), pretty much guaranteeing that everyone who wanted the movie already owned it. Odd decisions all around.
Now they've completely gone into hiding while some pretty high-profile titles -- 1408, Grindhouse, Halloween, Nanny Diaries, Sicko -- go unreleased on HD DVD.
