Warner Non-Combo HD Reissues: Possible repackaging of old stock?
So it looks like Warner may be using some old stock in new packaging.
A few weeks ago I finally got around to ordering the non-combo HD version of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang from Amazon as they finally had it in stock.
Well tonight was the first chance I had to open it and watch it and well, the case art no longer had the combo label on it, nor do the features/specs grid on the back make mention of SD, but low and behold the disc inside is the combo disc. It even had the "Introducing the HD DVD and DVD combo..." insert.
No biggie for me as I didn't pay the over-inflated combo price, but I know some folks were avoiding combo discs in the first place.
