Thread title says it all. Just tried to play it and it would freeze, then the audio would play, then the video would speed up to try and meet, then it goes through the same cycle again.

Anyone have contact info for Warner Bros on exchanging a disc, I bought this on release.

Which HDDVD player/firmware are you using? Have you had problems playing any other discs?

XBOX 360, which I haven't had any issues with playback. It worked flawlessly when I purchased it on release.

You could try:
DVD Department
Warner Home Video
4000 Warner Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91522-1543
Telephone: 818-954-6000
Fax: 818-954-6480
Web Site: http://www.dvdwb.com

By the way, for future reference, this information comes from:
http://www.thecinemalaser.com/address.htm
How up-to-date it is I can't say but the contact information I have tried in recent years has worked fine.

You could also try to contact customer service directly here:
http://www2.warnerbros.com/web/main/...er_service.jsp
I haven't tried this.

I don't have an HD player yet, but is this how damaged or defective discs behave- the picture stops, sound keeps going, then the picture speeds up til it's back in sync? I've seen some videos on the computer do that, the effect is rather amusing.

^In my experience a damaged disk just freezes the player. If it is a bad error, as opposed to an intermittant glitch, it can be difficult or impossible to recover control of the player and I have to turn it off (by holding the "on" button down for eight seconds, as with most computers, which is what these players are).

I've never seen a synch problem as described by the OP, nor have I seen many such reports. So, I wouldn't say such things are typical.

I had problems with a couple of combos myself. Very frustrating.
