Ratatouille - BD disc problem

I just put the BD in, and there is a vertical blurry line on the left side of the screen. The bar remains through out the entire film, and is extremely distracting. Has anyone else experienced this?

Same here....no issues on my PS3.

If you are using the PS3 make sure you update the firmware to 1.93

Actually, 2.0 is now avalible to download. I did watch the movie before I downloaded 2.0 just a while ago. I think I did have 1.93 though.

Watched it on Friday with no problems with my disc or PS3 and watched it again last night over at a friends with his copy and his PS3.

Sounds like you may have a defective disc? Try taking it back.

As it turns out, it was a defective disc. Exchanged it for a new one, which plays perfectly. Glad no one else has reported any probelms. Concerns me since i will be buying CE3K tomorrow, and hoping for no issues. Still going back to all the problems with the "Superman" set, assuming this is going to become a common problem with major releases. Anyway, thanks guys.

Weren't the Superman problems only with the DVD collection? I think the BDs and HD DVDs were fine.

i was referring to problems in general, like "Superman" and "Back to the Future". It seems to be hit or miss with the really big titles, and keeping my fingers crossed there are no issues with "CE3K" tomorrow or "Blade Runnder" on 12/18 on Blu-ray. Although no problems with my Blu-ray of "Superman The Movie" - looks amazing actually.
