What makes this "HD Talk"?

There's a bargain area for stuff like this. In fact, there's already a thread for it.

As of right now, they have the recent Anchor Bay horror Blu-Rays(Halloween, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Evil Dead II) for $18.10 each. After discount, they would be $14.48 each.

Hopefully they don't jack up prices before the 9th. I still haven't picked up Evil Dead II.

Some of the HD DVD prices will fall below Amazon's prices with the extra 20% off... I plan on picking up a few.

It's been proven that, overall, they don't.

The last few 20% off sales from DDD have been a shadow of their former selves. It's not what it used to be.

I think the problem is I either already own all the DVDs I want or would rather wait for the HD version of certain titles.

If dvdplanet mirrors the sale this year as they have in the past they have better prices on quite a few HD discs.

Some titles are cheaper at DeepDiscount and others are less at DVDPlanet. Pays to check both. I think planet also does free shipping over $35... correct?
