I called the number today on the HD-Dvd form to check on my rebate. The lady asked me my information so that she could look up my account. She found my rebate information and then started reading it off to me and verifying my information. Then she started listing my selected titles as: Chicken Little, Black Rain, Blazing Saddles, etc. I stopped her and told her that those were my Blu-Ray selections and not my HD-Dvd selections. She then told me that they still hadn't received any information on my HD-Dvd rebate. I thought that it was a bit ironic that the big ammo for both formats, the 5 free disc promotion, is being done by the same company. She even had a laugh about it once she put it in perspective. I thought I would pass this on for a little Halloween cheer.

Did you check your status online?

It must be a room with like 10 guys based on how fast they're shipping them out.

See, the formats can co-exist.

I found that on google. I don't know about HD-DVD's. I'd search for it. Just put HD-DVD rebate status in google.

They're just using the same rebate company, millions of rebates are processed by this company(Archway Marketing Services).

I was filling out both forms at the same time and kinda figured this was the case from the similar addresses.

One of them should have a saw in their hand, with a Universal logo on their coat.

Mine shipped 11/1. Now to send in the HD DVD rebate offer.

Just got my 5 free blu-ray. Ugh.

They subbed out the Italian Job for X3: the last Stand. IJ was the only one of the 5 I wanted.

I called and they have the information for both of my rebates. Now if they will just send them out already.

My son goes to school in Young America, so I drive by some of their buildings twice a day. (we live about 7 miles away)

Yes, the same Young America...

That is what I fear Michael. IJ was the only one I wanted as well and since they no longer make the Blu-ray version I will probably get hosed. They have not updated my info yet to ship so I have to wait and see.

They said they sent me Italian Job because I feared it might not come as well, but who knows what I'll actually get in the mail.
