B1G1 Sale On Select Blu-Ray Titles (Amazon)

Just got an email from Amazon about the sale. The price didn't adjust until I logged into my account. The email said I received it because I have ordered Blu-Ray discs from them in the past.

List of available titles:

HD DVD needs to get on board and have some of these sales. All other things aside, BD software has been consistently cheaper since the beginning.

Could people stop saying HD DVD needs to do these deals in the Blu Ray deal threads? Its obvious that the HD exclusive studios have 0 incentive to really push the software since they are there due to payoffs in the first place, so they just fulfill their duty of making discs and dont care how they sell since they got paid anyway. The blu ray side has lots of sales because they want the format to grow and to get it to a point where is surpasses DVD. Kinda obvious where the camps stand, IMO.

QuePaso, consider this an official warning. That kind of nonsense is just flame bait and format bickering.

They're all from Disney, who hasn't released a catalog title since May. I wish Warner could get in on one of these because they've released more.

Sonicworld, the deal is dead because it was a one week thing.

I'm sure there will be similiar discounts in hd with Xmas just around the corner.

Last montht there was the buy B2G1 free in hd..which ironically I didn't take advantage off cause it was gone so quick but this time I was ready

Was going to order last night but decided to hold off till the morning only to find the deal dead. Oh well. Don't have a Bluray player anyway, but was hoping to pick up the cheaper PS3 slated for next month. Couldn't decide whether to buy the first 2 Pirates of the Caribbean movies (the first one having framing problems) or hold off for possibly a boxset with all 3 films (and hopefully the framing problem fixed). Looks like the decision was made for me.

Hopefully, there will be more deals like this. I'm looking for a similar deal on the HD-DVD end too since I do have a player but have held off buying too many discs until prices get cheaper.
