Cool I'm going to finally pick up the first two Mission:Impossible movies and possibly We Were Soldiers.

I have everything else on the list that I'd want, as usual.

My SD paper was missing the Frys ad today

Went down there earlier this morning and saw the sale though - great price on even recent releases (I need to stop buying sony titles on Day 1 it seems - almost every one I've bought has ended up on sale for half price, it seems!)

Just to confirm - while the display says "Buy 1 get 1 Free" it is indeed a $9.99/each & $13.49/each sale so you don't need to buy 2 to get the discount.

Tempted to buy BR even though I don't have a player yet, but the HD-DVDs come out to about 16/each after shipping if I buy the only 3 I would want.

I knew it would pay to wait. Amazon isn't a good deal anymore with the deals Fry's has. $9.99 for Underworld? Sold.

Yeah no kidding. I really have to make myself wait on these Sony catalog titles.

I at least don't feel as bad about the 13.50 Top Gun, as with tax it was only about $3 less than I paid to have it shipped to me from Amazon.

Sorry, missed that! (Everyone was talking about stores near them and they are found in only a few states.)

I found shipping for four titles was $7.12 so it appears to vary a bit by location. Not too bad though.

Yep, they have the $9.99 tags on all of the BD titles listed, so no need to buy an even number.

One interesting change here - the expanded the BD to be one entire aisle while the HD DVD section is still only 2 racks.

Stopped by the store, ended up with Underworld, Memoirs of a Geisha, Few Good Men, Wild Things, Final Fantasy, and one HD-DVD title Untouchables. $9.99 definitely makes it easy to pick up borderline titles, and it was nice that most of the movies I picked up were special editions (all but Wild Things, I believe). I put back Top Gun since it was a barebones disc, and at $13.50 is not much cheaper that Amazon's $18 price.

You can still order them though....you'll just have to wait a little longer to get them...seems like a small trade off for these cheap prices IMO...
