Has anyone found or received any of the Warner re-issued HD-DVD non-combo discs?

The title pretty much says it all....anybody actually seen any of them yet? They were supposed to be released last week on the 2nd...no stores in my area had any copies, just the old combo versions....

I had ordered Happy Feet from the Warner site with the 25% off coupon, and while they shipped the other three previously released titles in my order out, that one is still being shown as "processing", and I can't even find it on the site anymore (just the original combo version)....Amazon also shows it as "usually ships in 4 to 6 weeks", and DVD Empire stills shows it as being "on order"?

I got the non-combo version of "300" in the box of the new HD-A35 last week.

Amazon doesn't even have them all in stock yet. They have The Departed in stock, but Superman Returns ships in 6-12 days, Letters from Iwo Jima is 4-6 weeks. If any stores get these in stock, I would assume it would be Best Buy. I have seen the non-combo version of Army of Darkness there.

yes, same as Mr. Cinema. Seen non-combo Army of Darkness at Best Buy priced at $24.99 next to the combo counterpart which was $29.99.

Yes, all of the copies of "300" being sold in pack with the Toshiba player are non-combo...but that title is not yet available separately for sale...

I am talking about the Warner re-issues of previous combo discs, namely these:
The Ant Bully
The Departed
The Fountain
Good Night, and Good Luck
Happy Feet
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
Lady in the Water
The Lake House
Letters from Iwo Jima
Rumor Has It...
Superman Returns

Army Of Darkness is a UNIVERSAL title, and was re-issued over three months ago...I am hoping I do not have to wait as long on these Warner titles....

Aside from the compatibility issues that some players experience with the combo titles, and the flipper/disc art issue, are there any advantages to having the non-combo version? Does anyone know if the non-combo is simply pressed from the combo master onto a one sided disc? I'm assuming the combo discs are "dual layer" on he HD side. Is that correct?

I assume it's just the HD side of the combo disc, although I think the Fountain had some extras on the DVD side only, so I'm not sure if those will be lost on the non-combo version.

FWIW, Newbury Comics here in the Boston area carries many of the non-combo versions. they may also have them ava on their website. Pricing is meh, slight discount usually, though I did get The Departed for $27.99. I just found a used copy of the combo of The Departed for $14.99, so I'm deciding whether to return the non-combo or not as it's still sealed. The combo played fine on my A3, so I'm leaning toward saving the $13 given what I'm dropping at ddd and the planet. . .

I have the Fountain non-combo that came from Warner's online store. Never seen any of the reissues in stores, though.

When is Warner going to stop combos? Is Harry Potter the last one?
