differences in Full Metal Jacket older HD release and new one?

i am wondering what the difference is supposed to be between the upcoming release of FMJ on blu-ray and hd-dvd as opposed to the one from last year. i would double dip if i knew if it was any better. any ideas?

For one, there is a lossless track on both upcoming versions.

Also, the back cover alludes to "remastered in 1080p", which may mean a new transfer.

Definitely sounds worth it to me.

There is also a commentary with some of the actors and a featurette.

Perhaps Warner will be revisiting all of their early hd titles that were supposedly bobbed transfers. If they do, we can also hope they include more extras to help justify the double dips.

It's expensive enough double dipping certain SD titles that may never see an HD release. let alone HD titles.

I think the new one includes a widescreen transfer as well. Did the old one?
