THX Calibration on BluRay Discs??

I am just getting a new LCD TV and am away from home for a few months. Rather than buying a specific calibration disc - which I already have at home - can I get one of the Blu Ray discs that is TCX certified (like 300) and does it come with the THX menu for audio and video calibration?

Thanks for the help. Tried searching - no luck if this has been discussed in the past.

The only Blu-ray disc with THX certification is 'Terminator 2'. That disc does have THX Optimizer calibration patterns, however there is an authoring error on the disc that crushes whites and blacks, making the brightness and contrast patterns useless.

'300' is not a THX certified title.

Digital Video Essentials will be out on Blu-ray soon.

Thanks. I guess I will probably just get a Pixar disc like Finding Nemo, or Cars, and use one of those. Darn, I was looking for an excuse to get 300, but since I have it on SD, not much point in getting the BluRay version.

Owning a SD version of a movie is never a reason not to get the HD version.

There are test patterns on any of the Sony titles. Talladega Nights, Casino Royale, etc. Once you get to the main menu, you want to hit the Option button, 7-6-6-9, and then hit enter.
