HD-A30 vs. HD-A20

Sorry if this has been covered before, but my search for HD-A30 came up empty for some reason. So, does anyone have any information on what improvements there are from the A20 to the A30? I just bought the HD-A20, but might return it for the new one, if it's worth it...

Oh, and I know it's still a few weeks out, but wondering if anyone knows if there'll be free HD-DVDs with the A30?

Thanks!

the HD-A30 has been released, so we should start seeing reviews and info bubbling up soon, i think.

from a spec-perspective, the only feature the HD-A30 is getting that the A20 does not have (and won't get via firmware updates) is "HDMI CEC compatibility (which allows for control between other CEC-enabled AV products when connected via HDMI and using a single remote control)."

personally, the HDMI CEC doesn't excite me, but i'm interested in the general stability and maturity of a 3rd gen model and possibly faster powerup/load times.

Did you know if you go to Amazon's page for the HD-A35 they have an interesting deal. Maybe it's a Gold Paradox Box deal.

Buy the HD-A35 and The Fifth Element (Blu-ray DVD) for only $519.94.

Also, the A20 is repprted to bob to 540p before it sends out 1080p. Hopefully, the A30 will fix this.

The new 2.5 firmware version update is supposed to correct the A20 issue.
