Problem with my Toshiba HD-A20KU HD-DVD Player?

Hi. I think I might be having a problem with my A20 that I just bought last night. When I hit my "rewind" button, it pauses for about 2 seconds and then starts to rewind, but it sure isn't fluid - it kind of jumps or skips backward. Is this normal behavior or defective?

Also, can someone verify the boot time? When I turn the power on, I can't even eject for about 20 seconds... Normal?

Thanks so much!

Never heard of the KU version...where did you buy it at?
As for the 20 seconds...that's normal. The A1 took like a minute, lol.

KU is what it says on my owner's manual. I'll double-check the unit itself to see if it says that. I got it at Best Buy - $299 on sale...

Yes.

Its a Generation 2 player. This is not like DVD which has been around for 10 years and his been improved numerous times. Its a new format...hence the high price tag. Its part of the growing pains on both formats.
