Anyone have trouble with the entire extras disk on the xbox360? Mine sits there in 'reading' mode but never launches it. The main title disk starts up and plays just fine.

I was told at the Paramount demo that the servers should be live as of today.

Crabtree Valley Mall. I've bought around 24 titles the past 2 days at this CC. On Monday, the discs rang up with the promo discount. however, last night, they did not. But they manually discounted them for me. I suspect corporate will pull the plug soon if they haven't already.

Watched half of Disc 2 last night on my 360 with no problems. No problems with the web enabled stuff on Disc 1 either.

guess its my disk! Ill try returning it today.

I had to unplug my ethernet cable to get the disc to even play on the 360...must be some problem with their updating service

Exchanged disks and disk #2 still wont play on my 360. Every other HD-DVD I own still plays fine so it has to be something new with this disk. Hopefully there will be a firmware upgrade soon if enough people get it. I have one of the very first HD-DVD add ons so perhaps its something to do with that...?

I'll try mine tonight Prime and I'll let you know if I have the same problem.

Disk 2 plays fine on my 360, but disk 1 did freeze once during the web loading proccess.

My disc 2 plays no problems on the 360 add-on, which I bought on release day... some solid extras on that disc, I really enjoyed them!

Thanks for testing. Im at a loss to why it wont work. The disk does look fine and spins but just never launches--it stays on 'reading' forever. Is there a way to re-flash the fw on the drive--get it to look for the latest just in case?

I had no troubles with disc 2 either. I did have to reboot after downloading the web content. Worked great after that. Awesome disc, while the movie has it's flaws it's easily the best HD disc I have right now.

The web content on this is pretty slick so far; I'm enjoying the information overlay with the GPS, Transformer health, and factoids at the moment. The short downloadable "surveilance" video clips are decent so far, and seeing in the second one was a great surprise. :)

Holy crap. I think I just peed a little.

I've seen this twice now since Tuesday & I have to admit I've really enjoyed watching this at home, MUCH more than at the theater (where I came close to walking out several times). Part of it was that I really knew nothing about the Transformers cartoons before I saw the movie. Another part was that I more appreciated it's high camp with the 2nd viewing. But the biggest thing is the PQ, simply stunning in HD... big thumbs up!

So it works on my 360 player, but for some reason ,my menu button doesn't work at all. Did this happen to anyone else?

My Disc Two doesn't work either - I get an error that says something about the disc not being in "DVD format."

Yep I found out that quite a few disks were put out that are defective (as told me by guy behind CS desk at BB). I thought it was my player until I brought the disk in to BB and put it in their HD-DVD player to prove it. You just have to return it for a working one, took me 2 tries.

The other problem some people have with the xbox HD player crashing on webupdate, can be fixed easily by deleting the cookies in the memory panel for the HD drive, then retrying.

I had the same problem with disc 2 of a set purchased at Circuit City. I got an exchange for another set that works. It looks like there are a few duds out there.

Crap. I hope my copy isn't one of the bad batches. Bad enough that Amazon hasn't sent me my copy yet. I'd hate to have to return it shortly after receiving it (whenever that may be) because disc 2 is bad. :(
