Anyone find Blades of Glory on Blu-ray?

Anyone?

Some apparently made it out...

This would be quite the collector's item.

I don't think it's too collectible, at least not for me... it'd be different if it didn't come out on HD DVD.

I'm guessing the wherehouse full of these discs is still around, and if Blu~ray wins, they'll be unleashed immediately.

Did these actually get pressed or is this just coming from the blu-ray sources who claim some made it out - because so far there are zero on ebay and I'd have to think if they actually were pressed, a few would be on there by now....

You fail to realize this will be at least 18 months away at the earliest, right?

Oh I realize that completely, just saying in the long run... and somehow I don't think seeing Will Ferrell in Spandex is necessarily a high-def collectors item.

But who knows:

I get my first HD-DVD Player on Thursday and can't fucking wait.

I heard from a friend someone "apparently" found some at coscto, but not put on shelves. Don't know how true that is.

Best bet is to look at smaller/local shops. Stores like Best Buy already have signs in store, posting any reference to a blue ray disc as a mistake.

Who would have thought that any version of "Blades of Glory" would ever be considered a collector's item!

I ordered this title on Blu Ray from MTV during their coupon fiasco, and I'd just wish they'd do something with my order, including giving me my money back (I also order Jack Ryan on Blu Ray, so that too)

Amazon never cancelled mine, but it wasn't shipping either, so i had to order the HD-DVD.

Ah, just break down and spend the $210 bucks already! You can get 8 free movies with it (3 from Amazon, 5 from HD DVD), including the HD version of BOG.

Sorry, terrorist tactics of forcing me to do something won't happen. I won't buy hd-dvd hardware for blades of glory.

I hear a few people got the disc but nothing concrete, i want it myself!

I don't think the discs were pressed at all. I'll wait for reviews before picking up the hd-dvd version.

I can understand not being thrilled about the shift in support, but to call this a "terrorist tactic" is asinine and irrational.

I'm pretty sure they had to have been long pressed.

The decision to not release in blu-ray was only like 2 weeks before release date, right?

Tell me about it. Like when that Toshiba terrorist fired an RPG into Bill Hunt's house a few weeks ago. Luckily, he was at a Blu-ray party at the time, but seriously, I'm with you.

It was only 8 days before, but there's been nothing on these. No reviews. No copies on ebay. No reports of copies being found (at least any that seem credible). This all suggests these simply aren't out there.

Nothing on EBAY, so that might tell you something....when things are released like this, usually someone will list it for sale.
