Costco has the Sony BDP-S301 for $450 including a 1.5-meter (about 5 feet) HDMI cable.

This is the BDP-S300 with a different model number for wholesale club sales.

This seems to be one of the best deals around--and with no rebate to mail in!

Sam's Club has it for this price as well, though I'm not sure about the HDMI cable.

To be specific, Costco has it for $499.99 while Sam's has it for $447.56.

And yes, I'm not sure about the cable with Sam's player.

My local Costco has it for $449.99.

Ditto here, 450. Been there for a few weeks. I never looked close at the model number, whichever.

I just got back from my local Costco. It was $450 also. They also had A2's for $250.

As others have pointed out, the correct price is $449.99--NOT $499.99.

Costco also has a booklet of coupons sitting next to the players for 5 free Blu-ray movies with the purchase of the Sony BDP-S301 player. Offer good from 7/1 to 9/30/2007.

My local Wal-Mart in Oxnard, CA had two brand new BDP-300's with 2 movies inside (The Wild and Grid. Gang) for $366 on clearance...

Having returned to Sam's Club, their Sony BDP-S301 player is exactly the same as Costco's and both include the HDMI cable.

This is now $376.99 w/ an HDMI cable at my Costco.

Still $95 more then it was in November/December of 2007.
