It's going to be an expensive October...

Looking over the upcoming releases this coming October, I could probably say that the releases for that month would prove to be very expensive for either HD-DVD, Blu-ray or dual-format supporters. I'm supporting both and so far:

Oct 2 -
Top Gun (BD, HD-DVD)
Bram Stoker's Dracula (BD)

Oct 9 -
Twilight Zone: The Movie (BD, HD-DVD)
Poltergeist (BD, HD-DVD)

Oct 16 -
Starship Troopers (BD)

Oct 23 -
Inside Man (HD-DVD)
Carlito's Way (HD-DVD)
The Rock (BD)
Oldboy (BD)
2001: A Space Odyssey (BD, HD-DVD)
A Clockwork Orange (BD, HD-DVD)
The Shining (BD, HD-DVD)
Eyes Wide Shut (BD, HD-DVD)
Full Metal Jacket (BD, HD-DVD)

They haven't even mentioned what's really coming out by November or December!!!

Are those Kubrick dates official?!

And isn't FMJ already out?

Edit: Just read the release calendar sticky. Great news

Meh, they can keep it. I wouldn't mind seeing Spidey 2, however.

It's expensive enough for me and I'm not really a horror fan. I can only imagine how bad their wallets will be hurting.

That isn't a list of what's being released, it's a list of what he's going to buy.

And it looks like all three Spiderman could join the group.

I rented the unrated Eyes Wide shut from Nicheflix back-in-the-day & found the differences to be pretty meh... unless I see an outrageously good deal from someone like Xploited, I'll have no problem buying the domestic BD from Amazon.
