Zodiac on HD?

Does anybody know if the theatrical cut of Zodiac is still going to be released in September? I was gonna buy that then double dip on the DC HD but I heard it got canceled. Should I just buy the SD DVD on Tuesday? (I've been waiting forever to see this again.)

So Zodiac on HD has been canceled in general for release on the 24th?

I know the DC is coming to HD in 08' and from what people are saying the theatrical cut is not coming out in September, but I still haven't seen any proof of it.

I would take Jigga's word over HighDefDigest.

I thought he was referring to the DIRECTOR'S CUT.

I think they have must have pushed the HD release. I went looking for it on Amazon and a couple of other sites, and they are no longer even showing an HD-DVD or Blu-ray release at all.

Fuck. January? What the hell?

I'm hoping it's for HD special features or because they're hard at work on Mr. Coppola's trilogy in HD.

At this point I'm just going to rent the SD this week as I have yet to see the film at all, and I'm not waiting any longer. I knew I should have seen it at the theater...

I was just gonna wait til September then just double dip in 08' but i guess I'm just gonna pick up the SD tomorrow. It's worth having around whenever rather than just renting it for a weekend. Great movie.

IF we have to wait until January, will we be seeing both cuts in HD? I loved the theatrical, so I want the option of getting it.

The release is being postponed as far as I know until January. Looks like it was already announced. I'll update you guys if the date changes. From what I've seen, the Director's cut was only slotted to be available, but I think they are going to put in seamless branching to have both cuts but don't hold me to that.
