Frys has extended the deal for A3 for $98 till tomorrow! I was told it was only good till this weekend but I stopped by during lunch today and it was still ongoing till Tuesday. Hd-dvd pricing love continues!!!!!

Are you using the same receipt for the rebates? Would the ones they offer now, one w/ Syriana & TNMT vs. the one with Swordfish and Troy listed be 2 different offers?

Looks like 90,000 or so A2s were sold last weekend. Even though it's not surprising, I think that's pretty incredible. LINK

wow...and that doesn't include the A3 sales? or A2 sales through other retailers such as Fry's?

I wouldn't hold your breath. Weinstein is intent on breaking it up, and in foreign markets it was never combined into one feature at all.

I think there's a good chance they'll do it in the U.S. just for a double dip. Then again, we're still waiting on the combined Kill Bill...

Oddly, the German releases tend to be the cheapest of the imports (alone w/ French).

Rodriguez has said they are doing a complete Grindhouse DVD with both films and all the faux trailers. I'll take that word as gold for now. I'd love an HD release since it would mean we wouldnt have to switch discs like the SD version more than likely will require.

I'll be more suprised if they aren't. I fully expect the IJ films to make it out next year, and Godfather was just recently restored (on film, iirc) so that seems like a sure bet too.
