I hate buying regular dvds anymore. So I rent a lot on netflix. But there are several things I would love to buy, but would hate to see them come out later on HD. Venture Brothers and Scrubs are the ones I am thinking of. Which is odd because Scrubs was not broadcast in HD yet the DVD says it is widescreen.

Anyway, what do you guys do in these situations?

I doubt it... Especially since they are not even produced in HD.

BTW, That's an error on Scrubs, none of the DVD's are widescreen.

Venture Bros. isn't produced in high-def, so feel free to buy the DVDs. They're great sets; you won't regret it.
