5 Free HDDVD rebate question

Ok, so how was everyone able to take off the white sticker that has the UPC on it cleanly, to send in for the 5 free HDDVD rebate deal?

I am trying to take it off of there, and it keeps ripping.

Suggestions?

I just cut the box with it and then thinned out the layers of the box piece leaving only a thin bit of box and label.

I was trying to keep the box intact. I just peeled the sticker really slowly, and taped together the pieces that were ripping.

I took a utility knife and lightly cut around all the edges then it peeled right off like a cheap sticker (with a little care). Left a little brown rectangle on the box, but otherwise whole.

I just cut a chunk out of the box and mailed it in.

I threw an extra stamp on the envelope just in case.

I use the same method suggested by Councelor. Use an x-acto or utility knife to lightly cut around the edges of the UPC sticker/label; don't push too hard here -- you don't want to cut all the way through the box. Then place the blade under one corner and carefully lift up to loosen the outer layer of cardboard. Then grab that corner using your fingers, and lift slowly to peel off the UPC.
