I missed out on this "deal" but a few years back CC mispriced a bunch of TV on DVD boxsets for like $9.99-$11.99 when TV on DVD was starting to really boom and normal prices were $40 - $80. Even "American Dreams Season 1" was selling at like $11.99 when everywhere else it was $70+. CC actually honored every order I made and to my knowledge all others as well. I ordered about 15 different TV on DVD boxsets during that price mistake, so CC has had a good history from what I have seen.

Could this be bad for HD-DVD at CC? if they take a bath because of this mistake, couple with the company already being in trouble, do you think they'll hold off on bringing in more HD?

damn, and again I am the King of "the day after the deal" reading. :(

I was thinking this might be the real 'trojan horse' for moving HD DVD players. If it was say Best Buy B&M or Amazon instead of CC, there'd be no doubt. :D2:

Mine has shipped too, I used the plain jane standard shipping.

No way, this will be nothing but positive for the format. There will be quite a few players sold because of this. HD DVD will only grow stronger now thanks to Circuit City.

Maybe one of those people CC canned used to be in charge of website pricing, and now some lower paid new person is doing it.

Well I've been billed, but have yet to see a shipping notice.

To be honest, if it hadn't been for the $20 price point on the Complete Trilogy, I was going to hold off on The Matrix until Warner released it on Blu-ray, since I have no use for IME. On top of that, since all of the supplements in the Ultimate collection were SD like the original DVD set, I had no need for that.

This is definately the steal of the year...

Looks like they will definitely be honoring everyones orders. I just got an email from them acknowledging the pricing error on both the Matrix and OC sets. They stated they would be allowing one (of each) per person.
