I got it at Amazon.uk and it looks amazing but the AQ is just average, at least that's what I thought. Lots of bonus features and the menu system is like that of every other Warner HD DVD.

Well, I have been doing a little weekly DVD review column at the newspaper that I work at for a couple of years now. I recently got the ability to play HD-DVD and my editor decided to order me some HD-DVDs to review for our Web site. Free HD-DVDs? I'll take it!

How were you able to receive them so many weeks before release date?

My Black Snake Moan & Hustle and Flow were dispatched yesterday 2 weeks ahead of the release date which is normal.

Still waiting for my Warriors an Untouchables to ship, hopefully wont be long

I may trade my Wii package for a PS3 package, so I may have a Bluray player with a few movies, to go with the HD DVD player.

We shall see.

Got One Six Right HD DVD. Great small airport documentary. Great High Def footage and an interesting documentary.

Received The Meaning of Life HD DVD from amazon.

Received in all the Universal titles.

Black X-Mas and Harsh Times HD DVD's.

Just got The Fountain & V for Vendetta HD DVD.

Never thought I would like The Fountain...as a film, in moved me to tears.

Ghost Rider and Hellboy BD.

I browsed the HD aisle for the first time today since getting a player. I bought Breach and Payback.

Well, they weren't titles that I ordered from a store. They are screeners direct from the studio. They always tend to send things out in advance, although I was a bit surprised how far advanced a couple of the titles were.

I usually get things only a week or two ahead of the street date (sometimes less), but I got the impression from my editor that Paramount was very eager to get someone writing about their HD-DVD and/or BD releases.

We also deal a lot with Disney, but I don't have a BD player.

Otherwise, I'd get my editor to start begging for some BD movies.
