Amazon 10% off discount on Children of Men HD DVD?

I went to pre-order Children of Men a week ago (my first pre-order in all my years of purchasing!) and noticed that the 10% off discount was not registering as usual. I filled out the question form and Amazon's usual lightning-fast response was nowhere to be found. Is this a matter of the discount not working on pre-orders, or is there just a problem? I haven't had this happen before, so is this a time where I should just make the order and manually request the discount after the fact, or perhaps just a mistake that they will likely soon fix?

I wasn't sure if this belonged in the bargains sub-forum here or perhaps even the over-arching stores forum, so I figured I'd just post and let those wiser than I in such matters work their magic.

It takes a while sometimes for pre-order titles to receive the discount.

Yeah, I was running into this problem with A Scanner Darkly...I was hurrying because my Prime trial (which was the coolest thing ever) was about to expire...oh well, picked up the 40 year old virgin instead.

Their 50% off sale can't come soon enough.
