I still don't understand why Superman Returns on HD DVD isn't a top 10 selling disc. It's always in the top 5 on BD. So...Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is outselling Superman Returns on HD DVD? Very, very strange.

HD DVD's superhero of choice seems to be Batman.

Is it good or bad for the war that the top three selling titles on each format are from studios that support both formats?

There must be a lot of people getting new players. I think Batman is that one title every new HD DVD owner buys. Glad to see the Departed do so well.
I have to ask again though, who are the idiots buying up all the Fifth Element discs? I guess most people never bother to look at a review. Oh well, I bought Talladega Nights and that transfer probably isn't much better than the standard DVD so who am I to talk.
