If I find a good deal, I'm going to get the most I can out of it and make a profit of it. That's what I did with my Wii and that's what I'll do with this. You don't like it, well that's fuckin' great, but I honestly don't give a shit. You can go eat some cavier and clean your ass with your bidet.

They paid full retail and took a chance on selling them over retail.

This guy paid way under retail on an obvious price mistake. If someone bought 10 PS3s there wont be any flags on those orders since they paid retail.

it's just a case of people trying to take financial advantage of others. the fact that one purchase started at msrp and went dramatically up, while the other was far below and will presumably only approach msrp, is irrelevant. the intent is clearly the same. in one case a retailer took a hit, and in the other it was a group of consumers.

do i feel sorry for the store? no, they should take better care of these sorts of things, and block sales they consider gratuitous.
