Problem with Warner HDDVD's on 360 add-on

My XBox 360 HDDVD add on is having problems reading Warner DVD's. Specifically The Departed and Batman Begins. Universal discs work fine. Anyone else have having problems?

I've played both of these in the last week on my 360 add-on and they worked great.

Batman works fine for me. Should have The Departed in a few weeks.

I had one problem with a copy of the Corpse Bride skipping, but it was just a faulty disc. My other 5-6 Warner titles work fine.

I had problems with Batman Begins and Superman Returns, but it turned out that was just my add-on. I exchanged the add-on at circuit city and everything plays perfect now. The problems I had were occasional freezing and the screen getting a "mosaic" look.

I just watched Departed HD on my 360 the other day - it looked and sounded amazing and I had absolutely no problems with it.

Just for shits and giggles I did quick back-and-forth check of the SD side with the HD side, and man, as good as the SD might look, the difference was startling.

I own both of those discs and they play flawlessly on my 360. I have watched the films and all the extras. If you have done the update on your add on and are having trouble I would exchange the unit. I think almost all the problems you hear about online for the add on, are either the odd defective player or the update wasn't done, because I own 18 hd dvds and watched several more and never had so much as a single skip. the only problem i have is with one special feature on pulse and i think its the disc.

I went out and exchanged mine for a new one. So far everything plays fine. Thanks for the replies.
