Dish adding A&E HD channel today

For those who get their HD programming from Dish Network and currently get the SD version of A&E you should have the new A&E HD channel by the end of the day today. It's kind of a TNT stretch-o-vision thing from what I've heard. If you're a CSI Miami fan or are interested in the edited Sopranos episodes they are showing, you will be getting it in 720p now.

I've had it on local cable for awhile now. At first it was as bad as TNT with the stretching, but now they show all SD material in 4:3. Pretty much the only HD programming they have on it is CSI. Everything else is SD.

I have only watched the Bruce Lee films on Kung Fu HD and they looked better than I had seen them before. Monsters HD looks fantastic and has been loads of fun for my horror fan family. They repeat too heavily but it's still been a great channel.

You will get to see Dog's wife in HD? I'm sick just thinking about it.

South Park did a hilarious version of his wife.
