HD A1 HDMI Audio problem

Hey Guys,

I just connected my A1 to my new Pnkyo 604 reciever via HDMi. When I played the A1's test tone, the sound comes out of every speaker for all speaker tests. I've tried setting the A-1 to Auto, PCM, Bitsteam, and downmixed PCM.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

hmmm...I have the same exact setup and not sure what the issue could be. I dont have any issues, but it did take me a while to get everything set up properly. Maybe check your setting in the menu to make sure that you have the A1 assigned to the right HDMI port? That was a bit confusing for me at first.

It seems that the garbeled surround is only on the A1's test tone. Movies sound fine. Verry odd. There is some chatter on avs about low LFE levels using the A1 and the 604, but there doesn't seem to be a conclusive opinion.
