can you buy hd-dvd cases?

I just bought some Japanese HD-DVDs that were in regular DVD cases and wanted to switch them out.

Google up "hd dvd replacement cases" and you'll find a few places that sell them.

Here is one:

I've received replacement hd dvd cases from them for the same reason. The Japanese hd dvds now fit in perfectly with the rest of my collection. Shipping costs are a tad on the high side though.

Ditto. Not the best prices, but I replaced my Japanese and British cases with those linked above. Worked like a charm.

Scan the original cover, split it into 3 pieces (front, back, and spine), resize each, then reassemble and print.

Has anyone ever seen these in double-cases? Similar to standard dvd cases you can order to hold two discs?

Not one. And I've asked in SEVERAL of those threads.

Plus, there are extras on there that aren't available in R1. I'd just like an accurate one done.

I can't be the ONLY one who has it.

Would a straight resizing of the Japanese cover do, or are you looking for someone to customize it with English text?

How about replacement BD cases? It does not look like they sell BD at the above mentioned link.

Thanks! For some reason that thread did not come up when I did a search for "replacement cases".

No worries. I didn't find it on DVD Talk's search either, but for some reason, it came up on Google.

Why do you need replacement BD cases? Just wondering, I understand people who bought Japanese HD-DVDs wanting their cases to match, but isn't BD region protected?

Just completed a trade with someone for Eight Below and the case came with a three inch crack down the front of the case.

As far as the BD region protection goes, there are alot of releases that do not have region coding. I believe there is a thread that lists them over at AVS. Also, Japan and the U.S. are in the same region for BD.
