Best DVI --> HDMI cable?
What's a good one to get? About how much will I be spending?
Here is the TV I have for reference: http://www.amazon.com/Sharp-Aquos-LC...dp/B000F5CW8S/
It's the one from Costco, but basically that exact same model above. Also, with this cable, will my standard definition channels look improved as well? Does this cable provide audio and video?
As you can see I am a rookie at this, just bought my first HDTV today, so it's a big day for me. Thanks for any help.

not sure what length you're looking for, but hit up www.monoprice.com.
if you're going DVI>HDMI, i'm pretty sure you're only going to get video - no audio.
congrats on your purchase!

Yeah, no audio...I picked up an "open box" special at bestbuy and was able to get it cheap, so really, just go with the cheapest option and monoprice seems to be it.

Remember, with digital cables, they either work or they don't. So you should pick up the cheapest one you can from a reputable dealer (e.g., Monoprice.com).

^ Stores like Best Buy don't make much money on HDTVs and similar equipment because the market is so competitive. Accessories like overpriced cables are a major profit center for CE retailers, much like the extended warranty policies they try to foist on customers.
When it comes to cables and other accessories from CE retailers, just say "no"!
