Crank extras comparison
I just saw a DVD review of Crank on IGN and it looks like the DVD has a picture-in-picture commentary.
High-def digest just lists 3 featurettes for the Blu-Ray.
Does anyone know if the Blu-ray also has the PIP mode? Are the featurettes possibly just what was used for the PIP mode on the DVD?

Well, the featurettes are listed under the DVD's "crank'd out" mode and according to DVD Empire the Blu-ray will have that as well:
In "Crank'd Out Mode" you'll experience running commentary, behind the scenes, making-of insights, gags and more.

Picked the movie up yesterday. Excellent AV quality.
Not sure if they actually used BD-J, but it has the 'cranked out mode' PIP commentary.
It also has several featurettes (all in high def) that don't appear to be on the DVD.
Overall, excellent release.

A/V quality was one of the best I've seen lately. Very impressed all around, I picked it up from Walmart yesterday for $25.

It's exactly the same picture with the exception of the silver swoosh on the top and bottom that is on the keepcase cover. The back cover looks the same except rearranged a little different, due to the extra space gained by covering the blue space on the keepcase top. These are the slipcase pictures:

Yeah, pretty good flick for a character that Statham can do with his eyes clothes.
Yes, for either format, though to be honest, I never grasped the concept of the usefullness of a slipcover that is pretty much the same as the keepcase cover. It's just more annoying to get the disc out. I could probably throw them out, but I won't from a collection standpoint. They got rid of inserts but waste money on this stuff

Good news that it seems to be a decent release.
