3 HD-DVDs (all 360 add-ons) and 1 Blu ray (PS3). it's kind of annoying how if I want to watch a movie that happens to be on blu ray, I can only watch it in the living room. While the 360/HD combos are $600 just like a PS3 I dont see it as them costing the same because the 360 seems to have more value for me currently, I'm not buying 3 PS3s because 1) the games are horrible so far--i dont even own one yet, 2) I use the 360s to stream music throughout the house and 3) I dont have receivers in my game room or bedroom to handle switching between a cable box, 360 and a ps3 (and a damn upscaling dvd player since neither do that (except with a vga connection I believe).
Also I have about 60 HD-DVDs and less than 20 blu rays.

Just HD DVD to this point. Definitely considering Blu-ray at some point, but honestly even my interest in HD DVD has dropped. Casino is the only HD movie I have purchased in weeks. I did rent and enjoy V for Vendetta and Superman the Movie.

I got a PS3 for Christmas, but I think that I will be only buying games on BR, not movies. I will set my Netflix so that I receive BR discs for the movies I want to see, but I still don't feel comfortable buying BR when I think that HD DVD is going to win the format war. But hey, I know I will never buy a PS3 game on a HD DVD, so I am safe enough with my purchases.

HD right now and at some point possibly Blu-Ray...Cost is my biggest issue and when I can get a player for under $400, then I will seriously consider it.

PS3 and 360 HD-DVD player. So, I own both.

Own 3 HD-DVDs (Kong, Fast Furious, Batman Begins)
Own 1 Blu-Ray (Talladegha Nights)

So, I've really only bought HD-DVD's. It may be because the HD is on my 55" RPTV and the PS3 on my 26" LCD.

PS3 aside, you are expecting a 50% price drop in a year? Not even remotely likely. Right now, HD formats have about a 1% market share, and I would expect that many of the players are selling at a very small premium, if at all. DVD Players didn't drop that much until it had a much great market penetration.

Toshiba A1 and over 50 HD-DVD titles so far. I have no interest in dropping the money for a second player while there are so many HD-DVD movies to spend that money on instead.

I own the Toshiba A2 HD DVD player and 15 HD DVDs (and counting). At this time, I have no plans to buy Blu-Ray players or discs.

I own a Toshiba HD-A1 HD DVD player and 80-someodd HD DVDs. I'm willing to buy Blu-ray as soon as there are some titles I want to buy and hardware that looks like it'll be worth keeping in the long term.

I have the 360 HD add-on, furthermore, there's not a single movie yet on Blu-Ray that I would want to own (other than a couple that are also on HD dvds).

Proud owner of a glitch-free HD-A1 for 4 or 5 months now. Also a proud owner of 140 HD DVDs. I may jump into Blu-ray also but I don't see that happening for another year if I do. I have enough to keep me busy between my HD DVDs and my Wii.

360 HD-DVD add-on owner. Looking to jump over to Blu-ray, but I think I'm going to hold off for now. If Lionsgate jumps over to HD-DVD I probably wont get a BD player. If Fox, and Disney make the jump over, I definitely won't be getting a BD player.

360 Add on w/Kong, Goodfellas, Christmas Vacation, Bourne Supremacy, We Were Soldiers, Swordfish, Last Samurai and Italian Job.

Really itching to get my hands on a ps3 for the Blue-ray alone. I'm sure good games will come out for it too.....eventually.
