What's the most HD DVD or Blu-ray discs you've purchased at one time or in one day?

We just a few hours ago got back from shoppin', and we picked up 8 HD DVDs, and on top of that we were very happy to see our sweet copy of 'Heart Live in Seattle' we ordered from Amazon just sittin' there in our mailbox for the 'That's what I'm talkin 'bout' low price of $5 & change because they gave us a $15 off coupon for being evil to me a while back!

We got:

Wolf Creek
Fast & Furious (Tokyo Drift)
The Matador
The Mummy
A Christmas Story
Manilow Live
King Kong
&
Casino

What's the most you've bought at one time or in one day?

I just bought 6 Blu-rays on 12/26, since it was the last day of google checkout. Almost bought 3 HD-DVDs too, but I figured I was spending too much. From the posts on this thread, I guess I wasn't.

I probably won't buy more than 5-10 a month now at full price.

In my defense, I quit buying a lot of dvds around 2002 in preperation of HD discs so I'm going to jump on any deals that come around. Below is proof of my madness!

P.S. My mailman is probably sick of me, Buy.com, and Google checkout. I have caused the poor guy nothing but misery the last two months. Gave him a generous card and monetary gift for Christmas however.

Hahaha! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks he's running his Mailperson mad. What's up with all your cases at the bottom of your DVD shelf? Custom?

The most I've bought in a day is 3 I believe. But, I think I've had my HD-DVD (and HDTV) for a little over 2 weeks now, and I now have 14 HD-DVD's with 5 more on the way. *embarassed*

They are D-VHS tapes. I'm torn deciding if I should sell them already or not.

D-VHS tapes, like the ones in that picture, are also known as D-Theater tapes. D-Theater tapes all use 720p or 1080i HD transfers, unlike VHS of course. D-theater studio support pretty much died 4-5 months before Hd-dvd was released.

For the most part, it was the best reference material you could buy if you were looking for quality HD from 2002-2005. Right before the format died, Fox surprised us and released I, Robot, which many consider to be one of the best transfers ever.

The JVC D-VHS Decks are also awesome for recording HD, if you have the correct firewire connection, and for dubbing old VHS tapes to a DVD recorder.

I decided to put all my SD-DVDs that are available on HD or BR (with priority going to HD if they're on both formats) and rebuy them once they sold. In 2 days, I had 78 orders, i didnt expect that at all, i expected to sell a few here and there. After dumping off my 3 bags of envelopes at the post office today, I ordered 36 movies with amazon and their free two day shipping and 10% off. Gonna be like christmas again Friday!

Most HD DVDs in one day is probably 12. I try to space my purchases over a couple of days a week to try and fool myself that I'm not buying a lot at one time.
