They deleted the 10% discount on the HD-DVD Sopranos when it shipped this morning. I know I am probably the only fool who bought this for such a ridiculously high price, but that's why the 10% off is all that more important to me.

I checked another HD-DVD order of Casino, Deer Hunter and The Sting that is shipping in January. Discounts still applied.

They did this to me on a couple titles Miami Vice hd-dvd and Talladega Nights on BD. When I emailed customer support, they apologized and sent me discount codes for future purchases.

On Talladega Nights, I was able to cancel my order and reorder WITH the discount applied! Very odd!

I've been having a fight with Amazon over the eligibility requirements for this discount. I purchased 3 HD titles at the same time, put them all in the shopping cart together, and hit "Confirm Order" just once, but their system split the shipment to 3 separate orders. Now they're telling me that I'm not eligible because I had to purchase the three qualifying discs in one single order, as if there were any possible way for me to do that. What a load of bunk.

How is the quality, I am itching to pull the trigger on the set, but damn $80+ is a lot for a TV show.

Until all seasons are available in HD or BD, I'll be holding off. If they had released S1 only as HD right now, I might have given it a shot, but I'm not feeling a big motivation to own only the last seaon in HD.

I thought about that briefly since I can get OCD about completing DVD sets, but I just don't see myself re-buying these on HD-DVD unless they are below $40 a season someday.

Right after posting this morning, Amazon sent me an email giving me a 9.95 credit. A little over 10% I think but I'm not complaining!

I tried to order 3 HD discs on Amazon for the past two days, and it won't accept the HDDISC10 promo, which is very annoying.

It seems that it bunches certain titles together.

I couldn't get Casino to bunch up with 2 other titles. So I got MI Box Set, Casablanca and Apollo 13 instead.

I was able to order without any problems at all. I got Fast and the Furious, House of Wax, and Troy.

Must be it, I had Casino in there.

Yeah, I ordered Casino, Dune and Hulk together at the same time in a single order, but they ended up shipping separately, though on the same day. Why?

I did get free shipping though.

What the hell? I qualified for this discount a couple of months ago, and have used it several times since, but now it won't apply to any HD-DVD in my cart. What's going on here?
