It's highdefdigests' quote, since I forgot to put that.

So I'm watching MI:3 last night and I noticed this group mentioned in the "Special Thanks" part of the end credits:

"The Hanso Foundation"

That's a nice little in-joke by J.J.

Yeah, MI3 was good, but at times, the scenes sometimes reminded me of Lost, Alias and even Felicity. Odd.

Definately a good flick though...it got a bad rap due to Tom.

Hell, it took 4 or 5 years for them to reissue the first M:I flick in anamorphic format. Universal isn't as frugal about it as Paramount and Warner, but they're definitely better about it than Fox and Sony. Fox and Sony do it like it's going out of style.
Paramount has been late to the game of double dipping. They just released Grease for the 3rd time and I don't doubt that other titles will be double-dipped and triple dipped in the future.

Was Grease for the 3rd time? Damn...i thought it was twice. Speaking of which...when are we getting the HD DVD version?

And is Black Rain seriously coming out in January?

AVS did. People there have gotten them.

And Jigga works for Paramount.

I have the boxset in my hands and can confirm that all 3 titles are HD. They also come in their own cases.

Have you watched part 1? If so, how does it look?

This is likely a YMMV, but my local Walmart had a big flyer posted saying they would be selling MI3 on the 29th at 6:00 pm. It had a picture of the MI3 dvd display rack. Not sure if the HD DVD or BD will be there at that time.

Best Buy's current price is the full retail of $99.99. Screw that. If you can wait for DDD's 20% off sale, it'll probably be cheaper there.

Bestprices.com using the $10 off $30 Google Checkout, easily beats Amazon's current price. But it's about the same ($50 or so, shipped) as the Amazon sale price awhile back with the usual 10% off.

I just submitted reviews for M:I-3 on both formats. Should be up later tonight. This movie is going to be everybody's new show-off demo, I guarantee it.

No doubt. I loved part 3. This will definitely be my demo disc...until 11/14 when that big ape arrives.

Here's a review for Mission Impossible:

I look forward to the review Josh! Even better than Chapter 28 on Batman Begins (that is my demo scene right now).

My reviews are up:

HD DVD
Blu-ray

The HD DVD has the exclusive "Enhanced Commentary" feature, but the Blu-ray gets more easter eggs (for no particular reason).

Excellent reviews there Josh. I would have liked more audio information (how did the bridge sequence sound)? Otherwise from that, the video information was top notch and very extensive.
