So I'm watching MI:3 last night and I noticed this group mentioned in the "Special Thanks" part of the end credits:
"The Hanso Foundation"
That's a nice little in-joke by J.J.

M:I3 may be dipped again at some point, but Paramount's track record with DVD indicates that it will take a while for that to come out. Hell, it took 4 or 5 years for them to reissue the first M:I flick in anamorphic format. Universal isn't as frugal about it as Paramount and Warner, but they're definitely better about it than Fox and Sony. Fox and Sony do it like it's going out of style.

And is Black Rain seriously coming out in January?

Flamebaiting and off-topic posts merged into the HD DVD vs. Blu-ray thread.

This is likely a YMMV, but my local Walmart had a big flyer posted saying they would be selling MI3 on the 29th at 6:00 pm. It had a picture of the MI3 dvd display rack. Not sure if the HD DVD or BD will be there at that time.

I just submitted reviews for M:I-3 on both formats. Should be up later tonight. This movie is going to be everybody's new show-off demo, I guarantee it.

Here's a review for Mission Impossible:

I look forward to the review Josh! Even better than Chapter 28 on Batman Begins (that is my demo scene right now).

Excellent reviews there Josh. I would have liked more audio information (how did the bridge sequence sound)? Otherwise from that, the video information was top notch and very extensive.
