I took a little look around that board, pretty interesting. But i'd hate to stumble in there with HD DVD hat on. DigitalFreak you can go first.

Well, let's say the PS3 has an installed userbase of 10 million by the end of 2007. It's certainly doable provided Sony can manufacture that many systems. Let's face it. If they make them, they'll all get sold.

That's 10 million Blu-rry players in homes vs. maybe 1 million at best for HD-DVD. Even if only a fraction of the PS3 owners buy a single Blu-rry disc, that gives the format a huge edge in software sales. And that's not even factoring in standalone Blu-rry players.

I realize this is all based on "what if"s, but it's not like I'm going out on a limb here. These are all very distinct possibilities, and if it plays out this way, HD-DVD's gonna have an impossible mountain to climb.

It's not a bad site at all. Most of the posters seem to have both formats or are pretty open minded, save a few posters. No board is perfect though.

3. Rock: What will you do if Ebay disallows PS3 auctions this holiday season as is being rumored?

Craigslist, newspaper classifieds.

Walk around Best Buy, Target, ToysRus with a sign or tshirt saying I have PS3s....haha....kidding....Ebay would be stupid....they made ALOT of money off the 360s.

If for some reason they dont allow them, I can easily return them.

I forgot the numbers, but there was an article last year about how much money ebay made on the 360s, it was alot!

Devil Wears Prada, From Hell in next wave of titles

OCT. 17 | 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is set to release its second wave of Blu-ray titles, including The Devil Wears Prada day-and-date with its standard-definition release, on Dec. 12.

Prada follows Nov. 21 release Ice Age: The Meltdown, which will mark Fox’s first simultaneous Blu-ray and standard-DVD bow.

The Blu-ray Prada edition includes director and crew commentary, trivia pop-ups and 15 deleted scenes. Prada grossed $120 million in theaters.

Fox also is set to release on Dec. 5 From Hell, a high-capacity 50GB Blu-ray title. It will be one of the few Blu-ray titles to be authored in AVC (MPEG 4 compression).

Fox’s Kingdom of Heaven is slated as the studio’s first 50GB release on Nov. 14.
