Any further thoughts on this? I still haven't hit one that feels right yet.

You know, I was actually thinking about that this morning, and ended up coming up with a great title for a column on offbeat films, but nothing more on the HD front.

If you want to rip off an awful Owen Wilson film, you could name it "You, Me, and HD."

Edit: at bboisvert

You know, I actually don't mind that.

I'm usually pretty good about this type of thing, but I'm drawing a blank on a decent title. That may be why we ended up with nonsense like "The Look and Sound of Perfect."

I thought that "In HD, Everything Is Fine" was a particularly good one. But have it your way.

It is good, for the half dozen people who will get the reference.

I actually really like Shannon's, The Hi Ground. The best one of them all imo. very simple, refers to HD and is catchy without being cheesy. The word dream is well, just borderline cheese imo. Just my 2 cents.

Defining HD

there is my contribution :-)

PS..

Allright, I hear you about the cheese factor in "Dreams", but I really don't like "Hi Ground". We need something that's a little more specific to HD video.

High Rez Report? (slightly alliterative)

I like DVD Josh's "Clearly HD" the best.

I'm sure you think I'm beating a dead horse, but it actually works well for people who don't know Eraserhead. Those that do will get a little extra kick out of it, but I think it works well on its own merits. Look at all the people who bought movies like Doom or POTO just because it was in HD. Proof that to some people as long as it's in HD, everything is fine.

Watching the Dazed and Confused supplements has me thinking "HD is For Everybody".

I'd say right Defining HD or Clearly HD are your best choices. Unless you want to go with something simple like HD Beat or HD Chronicles, something like that.

I like High Def Junkie myself. It fits in with the offbeat column titles this site has.
