Armageddon is listed at the Blu ray promo site, so we will probably see it by Christmas. Kill Bill is also listed.

And considering he's on my block list, i would've had no trouble believing it.

Dinosaur and maybe The Brothers Grimm are the only ones I would get from that list...
if they were in HD-DVD.

Im sure they are also waiting on BD50. Im wondering what the quality of these will be. Anyone know what encoding they are going to use?

Luckily, none of these titles appeals in the least to me.

Im glad though, because if some big titles were announced and one of the upcoming BD players got good reviews, I would probably take the plunge. All of this relying on the titles actually receiving quality treatment (unlike the current BD batch).

I'm glad the list is mediocre. It saves them the trouble of double-dipping, should another format win (or, should BD technology improve). We remember how long it took to get some early releases (Seven) mastered with the quality they deserved. I'd rather wait a year and get an adequate release of Pirates, than get a 2nd-rate one now.

Yep, Goodfellas took more than seven years to get a good edition.

I am concerned about Kill Bill, but then again, is that Whole Bloody Affair ever going to come out? That would be a different release.
