Plus BS also incorporates some of the deleted scenes (I haven't watched the whole thing yet).
Groovy! I'm there.

That's what I have meant when I said "startup time." I've been using the term "load time" to refer to the amount of time it takes for the player to recognize an HD-DVD after I've put one in the tray.

Okay, one more question and then I promise to shut the hell up. Anyway, how does the resume function work? I want to stop a movie and pick up from the same spot a little later -- I'm doing as the manual says, hitting stop and then hitting the resume button, but it's not working. Is it a timing issue? At what point after hitting stop do I hit resume?

BTW, Bourne Supremacy looks and sounds terrific. I hope my Amazon discount kicks in soon so I can get Rundown.

I don't think the resume function works on HD DVD's but I could be wrong. I know it works on my home-made HD DVD's but I don't think it works on the properly mastered ones.

All you can do is bookmark the last scene you were on, for WB HD-DVDs, anyway.

FYI for those still wanting the HD-A1, Amazon.com has it in stock. It's sold by them, no third party selling.

Got Happy Gilmore and Million Dollar Baby today. Neither are going to make me go WOW, but some of the colors in Gilmore really pop.

I have to say, I think my eyes have finally gotten used to all this HD content. Now when I watch the movies, I don't say, "Wow, I can't believe how good this looks!" but instead "Yeah, this is how all movies should look." And when I look at anything else, "Man, I can't believe I thought this looked good."

Are the chapter breaks the same as the SD DVDs? Because I was waiting for a chapter break to stop Happy Gilmore at, and it seemed like the chapters were going on forever.

As lousy of a movie as Swordfish is, some scenes did look absolutely spectacular. Gotta love the colors poppin' out! Tonight I'll be catching Chronicles of Riddick.

I also purchased The Rundown and Red Dragon (pre-order). I can see myself going broke on this thing.

Didn't get the chance to. I'm still going through an experimental phase, where I just check out the video and audio quality. In time I will start exploring the extras. There's just so much cool stuff to see, I want to do it all!

I understand that no one has found a way to make this region free, but what about R0 PAL discs? Has anyone checked whether they can be handled?

Nope. No PAL. Doesn't matter which region.
