DVI to HDMI important questions

DVI to HDMI important questions
before i purchase an HD-DVD player (and in the future a playstation 3), i had some important questions. this is the TV i have, http://www.fotoconnection.com/vi-203...;-FLM3201.html
and it has a "DVI with HDCP" input, put the connecter is labled as DVI-D, but it clearly has 29 pins. Is DVI-I and DVI-D compatible with eachother? maybe the TV does both. Also, if i use a 24pin HDMI to DVI connecter with my 29pin input, will it still work in high-def? the thing says it has HDCP, but it might be analog, or compatible with both. anyone know? i dont wanna drop 600 bucks and have it all not work.
